Self published author and publisher Fiordaliza Charles was born to write. She first realized her passion as a child when she penned "I can't speak your language," a poem inspired by bullies who taunted her for her heavy Spanish accent, Fiordaliza struck back unveiling the gift of poetry. An optimistic person by nature she put a positive spin on the situation and wrote her first poem. This would later lead to a collection of self-published books based on her first love, poetry. It was the onset of many to be birthed through TPL Publications. 


Testing the waters Fiordaliza released "Can I tell you a Secret," which she later renamed "Can You Keep a Secret?" her first novel. A work of fiction based on a minor, who tragically loses her parents. Then decides that she did not want to go in a group home and flees her country. Finds love, only to find that her parent killer was closer than she could of ever imagine. This book is being edited at this time.


She became a publisher in March 2012 to enable her to accomplish helping other writers fulfill their publishing dreams. Her publishing company mission is to cater to the writer’s vision and to ensure that they receive the very best services TPL can offer for their publishing needs, from the beginning of the publishing experience to the very end and best of all these services are FREE of charge to poets.


Fiordaliza continues to expand and she collaborates with other writers as well as creating poetic anthologies. As the CEO and Founder of "The Poetic Lounge," she and Charron Monaye (Author ,Entrepreneur, Publisher Founder of Pen Legacy & Playwright) published a trilogy of poetic/short story anthologies which features at least 25-30 writers per book. 

The T.P.L Publications website was used as a platform to showcase and promote the contributing poets of this triologies of the T.P.L projects as well as to recognize and promoted new and upcoming author, poets, artist, entrepreneur and entertainers worldwide.

As T.P.L publications continues to thrive; she is currently helping to publish new writers, collaborating on new novels and collecting poetry and short stories from new and upcoming poets and working on projects such as "The Love Letter" an anthology which will feature poetry from all over the world, all of which are to be released in 2020.
